A native of the Golden State, Kathleen draws inspiration from her own childhood memories growing up in a large family, blending nostalgia with imagination in her work. She has authored two beloved children’s books, with her latest, Figbert & Flossie Visit the Big City, marking a significant milestone in her writing journey.

Figbert and Flossie are thrilled to be headed on an adventure to the big city to visit their cousins. Unfortunately, they run into several obstacles along the way. Thanks to the help of some new friends they finally reach their destination. My five-year-old grandson enjoyed reading this book and guessing what the animals would eat. The illustrations are charming and are a perfect match to the story.
